Hill Country Jane

Hill Country Jane has long been a tenacious presence on the Texas/Red Dirt Music scene. Formed in Austin, Texas and now based in their hometown of Houston, Hill Country Jane has evolved into a Texas Country Rockin' Blues powerhouse! Upon the release of their 2008 debut LP, "The Great Charade", the buzz about the band began to grow. With the exit of two founding members in 2012, HCJ joined forces with some old friends from another Southeast Texas band to make up their current lineup and in mid-2015, released their second full-length album, "Homegrown” recorded and produced by Billy Hillman of HillTrax Studios in Huntsville, TX. The single released from this album, “Southern Sunday,” broke into the Top 50 on the Texas Music Chart and Top 25 on the Texas Regional Radio Report.  After a temporary hiatus to focus on families and the responsibilities that life throws at us all, the guys are super excited to be back in the studio working on brand new material and booking new shows.  Be on the lookout for the new releases and miss the opportunity catch Hill Country Jane bring their original brand of “Homegrown Texas Music” to a live stage near you!
